This portrait was to sum up an inside joke which started from a television commercial. The ad was for gel shoe inserts, where people spoke of how ‘gellin’ they were. They were so gellin they were like MAGELLAN. “Magellan” was then used as a seek and find word to find each other, like Marco Polo. A QR code was included to direct you to a Youtube video of the commercial. Their address is hidden in the abstract shapes that surrounds the figure.
