For Avenue Calgary magazine, I created a series of editorial illustrations for the feature article Should the Michelin Star System Be Invited to Calgary? The story examines whether Calgary's restaurant scene is ready for Michelin recognition and the impact it could have on the city's culinary landscape.

The illustrations explore the prestige, pressure, and complexity of Michelin ratings while celebrating Calgary's evolving food culture. Inspired by fine dining, food tourism, and Michelin's iconic star system, I developed conceptual visuals to support the article's themes.
